To oversee and manage the company's interaction with government entities, ensuring full compliance with UAE laws and regulations. The role involves
leading the PRO team
, developing policies for effective government liaison, and
strategically managing all legal and regulatory requirements
related to business operations, licensing, and employee documentation.
Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Strategy
Lead, supervise, and develop the PRO department to ensure timely and accurate execution of all government-related processes.
Design and implement
strategic plans
for government relations, compliance, and documentation management.
Serve as the
primary point of contact
for all government authorities and regulatory bodies in the UAE.
Build and maintain effective relationships with
senior officials and key decision-makers
in government entities.
Advise management on changes in UAE laws and regulations that may impact business operations or workforce compliance.
Operations & Compliance
Oversee all
visa processes, labour contracts, license renewals, establishment cards, and trade license updates
.
Ensure
timely renewal and compliance
with all government documentation and company registrations.
Manage relationships and transactions with
MOHRE, GDRFA, DED, RERA, Municipality, and Chamber of Commerce
.
Review and approve all applications, documentation, and correspondence prepared by the PRO team.
Lead audits, compliance checks, and maintain documentation as per UAE legal standards.
Ensure the company's
reputation and legal standing
are protected through proactive compliance management.
People & Process Management
Mentor, guide, and monitor a team of PROs and government liaison officers.
Set departmental KPIs, monitor performance, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop internal
SOPs and checklists
for PRO operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate closely with HR, Legal, and Admin departments for seamless employee onboarding and offboarding.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum
8-12 years of PRO experience
in the UAE, with at least
3-5 years in a leadership/supervisory role
.
Knowledge:
Deep understanding of
UAE labor, immigration, and commercial laws
.
Strong network within
government departments
and key authorities.
Comprehensive experience in both
mainland and free zone
compliance processes.
Skills:
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills (English & Arabic).
Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical abilities.
Strategic thinking and ability to manage complex, multi-entity government relations.
High integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Valid UAE driving license (mandatory).
