Key Accountabilities/Key Activities
1. Financial Management & Consolidation
Lead financial reporting and consolidation of all group companies/subsidiaries.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor financial performance and highlight key variances and business risks.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting
Develop and manage annual budgets, long-term forecasts, and strategic financial plans.
Monitor budget adherence and guide business unit heads on corrective actions.
3. Compliance & Audit
Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Lead internal and external audits and maintain strong internal controls across the group.
4. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
Monitor group-level cash flows, fund movements, and working capital requirements.
Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
5. ERP & Financial Systems
Oversee implementation and optimization of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
Ensure consistent use of accounting standards and systems across all business units.
6. Strategic Finance Partner
Act as a strategic business partner to the Group CEO/CFO and executive team.
Support evaluations, feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and investment appraisals.
7. Team Leadership & Development
Lead and mentor the finance team across multiple units, ensuring high performance and knowledge sharing.
Build a strong compliance and reporting culture aligned with group values.
Knowledge / Skills
Strong command over financial analysis, consolidation, and financial controls
Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel (Power BI is a plus)
Leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills
Fluency in English & Arabic
Education / Certifications
A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
CA /CPA /CMA/ACCA
preferred
Experience
8-12 years of progressive finance experience, including 3-5 years in a group or multi-unit finance leadership role
Strong exposure to finance laws, tax environment, and regulatory bodies
Experience in multiple industries like trading, contracting, manufacturing, or services is preferred
