The Company

A leading Healthcare company based in Dubai is currently looking to recruit a Group Head of Treasury. Reporting directly into the Chief Financial Officer this is a fantastic opportunity to work with a forward thinking organization with significant career progression.

The Role

To manage the Healthcare Group\'s bank accounts, payment processing systems and cash balances including the management of external/government banking relationships and external payment system providers. To ensure appropriate treasury and cash management controls implemented in the Company\'s payment processing and bank account management including the maintenance of bank mandates, delegated authorities, segregation of duties and reconciliations. To develop and implement an effective treasury and cash management policy. To manage the Bank\'s liquidity and cash position including monitoring, forecasting and reporting of cash requirements and the cash position and placement and investment of excess cash for adequate return. Report on a quarterly basis to the Investment Committee.
  • Enhance and optimize the global cash management process.
  • Maintain external relationships with financial institutions and investment custodians ensuring a high level of service is provided. This includes including credit card and other inbound payment facilities.
  • Be the SME for any strategic changes in the possible innovation/modernization of international payments. Understand the local banking regulation and cross border regulation and tax parameters.
  • Process funds transfers within the context of the operational needs. Align closely with Financial Operations to ensure receipts are efficiently collected and payments are timely, accurate and efficient.
  • Forecast and manage cash flow across the group to optimize funds available for investment. Work closely with FP&A to establish an accurate forecast process.
  • Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and liquidity/capital requirements.
  • Monitor and identify financial risks regarding interest rates and foreign exchange. Where appropriate recommend hedging strategies to mitigate and or manage those financial risks.
  • Ensure proper internal controls and segregation of duties are in place.
  • Optimise cash investment returns on within a risk framework.
  • Ensure the Company maintains an appropriate credit rating and manage credit ratings.
The Candidate
  • Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or finance. CTP an advantage
  • 10+ years of experience in treasury, finance, or banking experience in a multi-company/environment.
  • Skilled in effectively presenting information and responding to questions from managers, regulators, bankers and customers as may be required from time to time.
  • Capable of resolving issues arising from daily operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
  • Proficiency using a variety of accounting and treasury software.
  • Well-developed communication and analytical skills.
