Group Financial Analyst

Job Description

Looking for a Group Financial Analyst who will analyse financial data, build financial models, and provide recommendations to management to enhance the Group's financial performance. This role is key in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, understanding business drivers, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic decisions.
Financial Planning & Analytics
Develop and manage financial models supporting short- and long-term financial planning
Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support business needs and provide insights to senior management
Collaborate with finance managers to prepare budgets for group entities accurately and on time
Run GAP analysis to maintain budget standards and process revisions
Financial Reporting
Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for key balance sheet and income statement accounts, including journal entries and reconciliations
Participate in new projects through financial simulations and business plan preparations
Provide analysis and recommendations on annual / revised budgets, challenge assumptions, and propose revisions
Prepare business performance presentations, quarterly finance board decks, and coordinate monthly business unit reviews
Oversee brand monthly reporting
Controlling & Compliance
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external financial and tax regulations
Maintain accuracy in reporting and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements
Prepare and file tax returns, registrations, and other tax-related matters across all group entities
Ensure timely and complete financial reporting to authorities and banks
Audit Preparation
Work with external auditors on annual statutory audits and financial statement preparation
Ensure sales audit accuracy in line with regulatory and leasing requirements

  • Ensure audited financials meet regulatory standards for all entities, including Kuwait
Regional exposure across UAE and Kuwait with strong senior management visibilityHigh-impact FP&A role influencing group strategy and business performance
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
Minimum 4 years' experience in finance or accounting
Background from FMCG, food and beverage or hospitality is mandatory
High acumen of financial and accounting standards with ability to interpret statutory audits
Strong interpersonal, communication, and business partnering skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and MS Excel
