Responsible for developing and rolling-out DP World's Sustainability Value proposition to our customers - a value proposition which is based on customers sustainability needs and include development of sustainability solutions and products which can help our customers to meet their sustainability objectives. This role will be the top voice for sustainability to customers and will work with both small and large customers to bring maximum value to the business. They will play a critical role in helping customers meet their sustainability targets. T his position will be a partner to the commercial teams enabling a competitive edge for the business through sustainable solutions.
Key Accountabilities
Work directly with DP World's largest customers to support their sustainability objectives in partnership with the decarbonization team
Support developing and marketing digital solutions that enable customers to understand their environmental footprint better.
Conduct global mapping on key accounts that have a sustainability agenda (potential and current accounts).
Develop dynamic resources to support commercial teams and business units during customer discussions.
Build up internal sustainability data management systems so that it included as a part of the sustainability product offering.
Develop a sustainability customer value proposition for all business pillars.
Collaborating with sustainability regional leads and other internal functions on the development of new sustainability value propositions, products and solutions
Collaborate with group commercial teams deploying green fees and commercial structures for ports
Collaborate with comms and marketing on exposure and awareness for new and existing commercial sustainability initiatives
Represent DP World at external platforms to promote sustainability products
Support technical teams in building and promoting carbon inset programs
Engaging and consulting directly with customers and sales colleagues on creating commercial sustainability opportunities and wins
Establishing and driving sustainability partnerships with selected customers in consensus with key account managers
Engaging with, guiding and training sales colleagues, commercial leads, senior leaders and other internal stakeholders to enable dialogue, collaboration and commercial sustainability wins with customers
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CSO, GRI, LEED, or ESG-related) are an advantage.
Min. 10 years of experience with sustainability and ESG agenda
Consultative B2B sales experience demonstrating customer-centric mindset in direct customer engagements
Understanding of logistics solutions and operations covering different modes of international transportation, warehousing and distribution, e-commerce, 3PL/ 4PL solutions is an advantage, but not a requirement
Proficient in stakeholder management with proven capability to build strong networks and influence decision makers in a matrix organization structure
Strong visual and verbal presentation skills, including ability to listen and capture customers' needs and feedback
A strong drive, ability to deliver results independently and an attention to details
