Group Commercial Manager

Job Description
We are looking for well experienced Group Commercial Manager educated in Civil Engineering and the background in Construction & Infrastructure field. The Group Commercial Manager supervises all activities of tender preparation and submission, including identifying the required resources, materials, equipment, costing, pricing, etc.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the submission of accurate and competitive tenders, ensuring all necessary Department input, including staffing, plans, drawings, etc. Assign responsibilities to support departments for preparation of submission items Oversee the document control mechanism for all tender documents, ensuring they are correctly filed and indexed for future reference Ensure that all tender documents, along with any amendments, are distributed to all relevant parties Review and analyze the technical requirements examining the commercial aspects of the proposal Launch, manage and update a tender Risk and Opportunity Register of technical, commercial, and financial risk associated with the tender Transfer the Tender Risk and Opportunity Register to the project manager at the Tender/Project Handover meeting Manage the collection of market data and quotations through relevant supporting department heads Pre-qualify specific subcontractors and suppliers for a partnering approach as appropriate Investigate potential value engineering opportunities within the scope of the tender
Required Skills:
Minimum Degree of Civil Engineering or relevant Work experience of 10-15 years in Construction field Tender Preparation Excellent negotiation & skills
