Group Accountant

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team and manage accounting operations across a group of companies. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience with Zoho Books, solid knowledge of IFRS standards (especially IFRS 15), and proven expertise in UAE VAT and the newly implemented Corporate Tax (CT).
Key Responsibilities :
Handle full-cycle accounting for multiple entities within a group
Manage and maintain books of accounts using Zoho Books
Prepare and finalize monthly and annual financial statements
Work closely with external auditors during audits and ensure timely completion
Ensure compliance with IFRS standards, particularly IFRS 15 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers)
Monitor and comply with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations
Implement and maintain project accounting, tracking budgets and actuals
Perform reconciliations, analysis, and reporting as required
Requirements :
Minimum 4-6 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a group/company setup (In UAE)
Proficiency in Zoho Books is a MUST
Strong knowledge and application of IFRS, especially IFRS 15
Solid experience with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations
Familiarity with project-based accounting and cost tracking
Strong analytical and communication skills
Experience working with auditors and handling finalization of accounts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
