Job Description

We are seeking a

highly skilled, meticulous, and client-focused Grooming Technician

to join our team at a high-end ladies' salon. This role is responsible for providing exceptional

eyebrow shaping, facial threading, body waxing, and tinting services

, while prioritizing

precision, client comfort, and safety

. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have excellent manual dexterity, and be passionate about delivering flawless, long-lasting grooming results.

Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery:

Perform a

full range of hair removal and shaping services

, including expert eyebrow threading, precise facial waxing, full-body waxing (hard and soft wax techniques), and tinting (brows/lashes).

Consult with clients

extensively to understand their desired shape, sensitivity levels, and recommend appropriate methods (wax, thread, tweeze). Provide soothing post-treatment care and advice to minimize irritation and ingrown hairs. Maintain impeccable standards of service quality and finished results for every client.

Hygiene and Safety:

Rigorously adhere to all sanitation and sterilization procedures

for tools, equipment, and work stations to ensure the highest level of client health and safety. Maintain strict

no-double-dipping

wax protocol and dispose of all single-use materials correctly. Advise clients on proper skin preparation and aftercare, identifying any contraindications or skin reactions.

Client Relations & Sales:

Build and maintain a

loyal clientele

through professional demeanor, consistent, pain-minimizing techniques, and exceptional results. Recommend and sell complementary

retail products

(e.g., soothing balms, brow gels) and future appointments.

Operational Support:

Manage and maintain the

treatment room

, ensuring waxes, threads, tints, and supplies are organized, clean, and well-stocked. Assist in monitoring inventory of waxing products, threads, and tinting supplies, reporting needs to the supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience:

Minimum of

2 years of professional experience

as a Waxing and/or Threading Technician in a commercial salon or spa setting. Proven high proficiency and speed in both

eyebrow threading and intricate waxing

.

Skills:

Excellent

manual dexterity, steady hand, and precise attention to detail

for symmetrical shaping. Strong knowledge of

skin types, hair growth patterns, and common reactions

to hair removal. Outstanding

customer service and communication skills

, with a focus on making clients feel comfortable. Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality.

Advantageous Additional Skills (The "Plus")

Other Specialized Esthetic Skills not required but considered a significant advantage.

Compensation

The salary package will be discussed in detail during the face-to-face interview process, commensurate with the candidate's experience, specialization, and proven ability to build clientele.
