Grocery Store Airline Supervisor

Job Description

Main Objectives
Directs and supervise the activities of assigned personnel in the supply stores. Includes daily corresponding and interaction with Aircraft Catering Service customers regarding their stocks. Re-orders stock for airline customers to maintain customer's requirements and reviewing stock balances on regular basis. Controls and checks the valuable items to avoid any misusage. Maintains cash float for daily emergency and staff special catering orders. Receives and distributes ACS store information to all concerned and update the information in the system accordingly. Ensures that assigned staff observes the established hygiene, safety and security regulation. Main Duties o Directs and supervise the activities of assigned personnel in the supply grocery stores. Includes daily corresponding with Aircraft Catering Service customers regarding their stock movement and maintaining the stock accordingly. o Collects necessary information from the end-user sections and receive their daily requirements and passing them to Purchasing Officers to replace all daily orders with the suppliers. o Raises grocery stores requisition forms to maintain customer's requirement. Includes checking items shelf life in stores and chillers/freezers if valid and available in stock as per specification and correct stocks levels required. Includes preparing the standard of grocery store items, vegetable and fruits items and checking with food cost analysis regarding forecasting other products items on menu. o Controls and check all valuable items in the stores to avoid miss-usage and reports any findings to HCS or CSSC in case of items shortage for necessary action. o Checks airlines charges and ensures that they have been fairly charged on a daily basis and prepares charge notes to FCA for further action. o Feeds all information relating to Aircraft Catering Service grocery stores into the system if there is any difference in price and quantities. Includes preparing purchase requests for airlines, issuing goods received note and processing posting and costing for all direct delivery items and fully responsible for GRD and GRI to be completed on time. o Carries out other similar or related duties. Comply with ACS Supplies Purchasing manual, and with the Company and Airport authorities' health, safety, and security regulations. Minimum Requirements Education: Completion of Secondary (12 years) of education. Experience: 3-4 years' experience in stores operation Other Essential Requirements: o Good knowledge of written and spoken English. o Valid light driving license. o Ability to use P.C.
