We are seeking a skilled Grinder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and fabrication, with the ability to operate various grinding machines and tools. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to producing high-quality components. The Grinder will play a crucial role in ensuring that parts meet specifications and quality standards.
Duties
Operate hand-held grinders to cut, shape, smooth, or finish metal surfaces according to specifications.
Select appropriate grinding discs, wheels, or attachments based on metal type and task requirements.
Grind, deburr, bevel, and blend welds on steel/aluminium parts using angle grinders, bench/pedestal grinders, belt sanders, flap wheels, and files.
Perform surface finishing, edge blending, and deburring to meet dimensional and quality standards.
Prepare parts for powder coating: remove spatter, sharp edges, contaminants, and ensure uniform finish.
Handle metal components carefully to prevent damage during grinding and finishing processes.
Verify dimensions and finish using gauges (calipers, rulers, radius gauges, surface profile comparators).
dentify nonconformities (warping, undercut, pinholes), segregate suspect parts, and inform the supervisor.
Maintain tools (change discs, dress wheels, check guards) and complete daily PM checklists.
Meet daily output targets while maintaining quality and safe work practices.
Qualifications:
Experience in a similar field- 2 - 3 years

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,300.00 per month
