Job Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced
Grill Chef
to join a well-established restaurant group. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious grilled dishes while ensuring hygiene, consistency, and quality standards are met.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook shawarma, kebabs, and a variety of grilled items according to established quality and presentation guidelines. Safely operate and maintain grilling, rotisserie, and other related kitchen equipment. Ensure all ingredients are fresh, stored correctly, and prepared following recipes. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the kitchen and grilling stations. Monitor portion control, minimize food waste, and maintain consistent taste and quality. Support and train junior kitchen staff on grilling techniques and food preparation. Adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent; culinary certification is an advantage.
Minimum of 3+ years' experience specializing in grill preparation within restaurant or hospitality settings.
In-depth knowledge of grilling methods, marinades, and flavor combinations. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and cleanliness.Preference for Arabic-speaking candidates.
Locally available in Qatar with valid visa and QID
