Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook shawarma, kebabs, and other grilled menu items according to quality and presentation standards.
Operate and maintain grilling, rotisserie, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Ensure ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and prepared as per recipes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking stations.
Monitor portion sizes, control food waste, and ensure consistent quality.
Assist in training junior kitchen staff on grill preparation and cooking techniques.
Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards consistently.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet service timelines and customer expectations.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent; culinary certification is a plus.
3+ years of experience
in grill preparation in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong knowledge of grilling techniques, marinades, and flavor profiles.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to food quality and hygiene standards.
Arabic-speaking candidates preferred.
