Governance Manager

Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Governance Manager to join a well known entity in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing secretarial support to the Board, Board Executive Committee, and Nomination and Remuneration Committee, ensuring that corporate governance processes and initiatives are implemented and adhered to.
Key Accountabilities:
- Schedules Board, Board Executive Committee and Nomination and Remuneration Committee meetings.
- Prepares the agendas, follows up on the status of action items, and compiles the Board, Board Executive Committee and Nomination and Remuneration Committee papers.
- Drafts the minutes of the meetings.
- Promotes and updates standards and procedures by coordinating between divisional managers.
- Undertakes preparatory work for the initiatives, prepares documentation and guidelines, undertakes roadshows as well as promotional activities and implements, follows up and monitors compliance as per the requirements in the framework.
- 15+ years experience working in Corporate Governance, gained within large listed corporates
- Candidates with UAE experience and familiarity with SCA regulations will be prioritised
- Be comfortable managing complex company structures and multiple senior stakeholders
