Job Summary

We are seeking a Writer Editor to join the Traffic Safety Services Division (TSSD). The Writer Editor\'s primary role is to promote TSSD products and services by developing awareness ideas, creating copy for websites, social media, marketing materials, and other platforms. They create both written and verbal media for both private and public consumption.

Responsibilities:

• Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for TSSD websites, blogs, marketing materials, and similar platforms.
• Conducting research and interviews to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions in the field, and then contextualizing the findings.
• Assisting the creative team with the design of promotional materials.
• Using social media to engage consumers, respond to questions or complaints, and to promote TSSD initiatives.
• Collaborating to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems.
• Monitoring social media and TSSD website metrics.
• Utilizing SEO methods to increase site traffic.
• Suggesting new ways to promote TSSD offerings and to reach consumers.

Requirements:

• This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
• Hold a Bachelor\'s degree in public relations, journalism, digital content creation, or marketing from a recognized and approved program.
• Possess ten years of experience in journalism as a writer, communications, public relations, or media relations, gained from either a news, public relations agency, or in-house communications setting, ideally in the energy, oil and gas, or chemical sectors.
• Have proven working experience in public relations.
• Demonstrate a proven ability to work in diverse public relations teams (preferred).
• Exhibit exceptional writing and editing skills.
• Have experience leveraging digital content management systems to deliver digital content to meet the needs of various audiences.
• Possess experience managing content management systems and digital publications (preferred).
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
