Our client is seeking a Global Expeditor to join their Sharjah office! As a Global Expeditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely progress of various project milestones, with a primary focus on factory visit expediting. You will work closely with vendors and suppliers to monitor and expedite the project\'s progress, mitigating any delays effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Document Expediting:
Expedite the submission of vendor documents.
Develop mitigation plans and submission schedules to address any delays.
Pre-Inspection Meeting Preparation:
Expedite the preparation of pre-inspection meetings.
Provide target dates for meeting readiness.
Sub-Order and Raw Materials Expediting:
Monitor the progress of sub-order and raw materials receipt.
Verify supporting documentation to ensure accuracy.
Factory Fabrication and Inspection Expediting:
Expedite progress in factory fabrication and inspection processes.
Collaborate with suppliers to address any delays.
Delivery Progress Expediting:
Monitor and expedite delivery progress.
Collaborate with suppliers to develop mitigation plans for delays.
Mitigation Planning:
Collaborate with suppliers to develop mitigation plans in case of delays.
Expediting Reports:
Generate expediting reports after each factory visit.
Requirements:
Bachelor\'s degree or above, with a major in purchasing and supply management.
Minimum of 5 years of working experience in EPC project expediting (Experience in TOTAL/ARAMCO projects preferred).
Proficiency in English, Microsoft Office, and computer applications.
Strong understanding of procurement and supplier workflows.
Excellent communication, analytical, judgment, information retrieval, organizational, planning, and teamwork skills.
High sense of responsibility and confidentiality awareness.
