Duties & Responsibilities

Purpose

As the Global Engineering Lead for Corrosion Management and Global Growth, you will be a key member of our engineering services team, responsible for developing and implementing engineering growth strategies, best practices for integrity and corrosion management scopes. You will provide technical leadership in corrosion management, as well as play a vital role in expanding our engineering services to new regions and markets. You will lead a team of engineers as part of a matrix organization and collaborate with cross-functional teams and other Oceaneering divisions to ensure the highest level of integrity, safety, and efficiency in our operations.

Functions

ESSENTIAL

\xc2\xa7 Integrity and Corrosion Management Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive integrity and corrosion management strategy in collaboration with manager, other Global Engineering Leads and IMDS regional Leads that aligns with the company\'s global growth objectives.

\xc2\xa7 Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of reliability and maintenance engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Provide guidance and training to ensure the team\'s success.

\xc2\xa7 Global Growth: Build and lead a global engineering team, coordinating and supporting projects in various regions.

\xc2\xa7 Project Execution: Support regions in development implementation and operational plans to execute maintenance engineering scopes. Provide SMEs support during handover from business development to tendering to project execution. Potential for \xe2\x80\x9clight touch\xe2\x80\x9d support during project lifecycle.

\xc2\xa7 Business Development: Support regional business development teams and global engineering focused business development representatives as Corrosion Subject Matter Experts including Identify new markets and business opportunities for our engineering services,

\xc2\xa7 Business Development: Support BD team with the creation and execution of growth strategies, including market research, client engagement, and partnership development. during client discussions and tendering.

\xc2\xa7 Corrosion Management Standards: Establish and maintain industry best practices and standards for reliability and maintenance, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements.

\xc2\xa7 Budget Management: Where appropriate manage the department\'s budget, making strategic decisions to allocate resources effectively and control costs.

\xc2\xa7 Software Systems: Support with the identification, evaluation, development, and implementation of software which can support and benefit the Corrosion and Integrity service lines.

\xc2\xa7 Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, safety, procurement, and engineering, to ensure alignment and integration of reliability and maintenance efforts.

\xc2\xa7 Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovative approaches to enhance reliability and maintenance practices to support global growth.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

\xc2\xa7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s and Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in an Engineering or Science discipline in a relevant subject (e.g. Corrosion Engineering, Materials Engineering, etc or related field)

\xc2\xa7 Proven experience in corrosion management / engineering within the oil and gas industry, with significant years in a leadership role.

\xc2\xa7 Proven track record of excellent problem solving and research skills, while projecting a positive, professional image

\xc2\xa7 Strong understanding of equipment reliability, failure analysis, and maintenance strategies.

\xc2\xa7 Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.

\xc2\xa7 Knowledge of industry best practices and standards related to reliability and maintenance.

\xc2\xa7 Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

\xc2\xa7 Ability to solve real-time operational issues quickly, with good judgement.

\xc2\xa7 Strong analytical and reporting skills.

DESIRED

\xc2\xa7 Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
