Key Responsibilities:
Review project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Perform quantity take-offs for aluminium, glazing, curtain wall, doors, and cladding systems.
Analyze material, labor, and fabrication requirements for each project.
Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and update cost data.
Prepare detailed cost comparison sheets and submit technical-commercial proposals.
Support the project and procurement teams during tendering and post-award stages.
Participate in value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Maintain updated records of all estimation data and project cost history.
Ensure that all estimates comply with project drawings, standards, and company policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in
Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Quantity Surveying
.
Minimum
3-5 years of experience
in estimation for
glass and aluminium works
in the UAE/GCC.
Strong knowledge of
facade systems, curtain walls, doors, windows, and cladding
.
Proficient in
AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software (e.g., ERP or Candy)
.
Excellent analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
