Our newest opportunity is for a talented GIS Technician to join our allied practice, InSite, based in Doha,Qatar. Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include;

Data Collection: Assist in collecting geographic data from various sources.

Data Entry: Input and maintain spatial and attribute data in GIS databases.

Data Analysis: Assist in basic data analysis and visualization tasks.

Mapping: Create and update simple maps and charts using GIS software.

Quality Control: Participate in data quality checks and validation.

CAD Drafting: Perform CAD drafting tasks as needed for GIS projects.

Report Layout: Contribute to the production of reports and layouts.

Documentation: Document GIS procedures and workflows.

Technical Support: Provide support and training to team members.

Coordinate Systems: Learn and apply basic coordinate systems and projections.

GIS Software: Familiarize yourself with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects. Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 3+ years of relevant work experience partnered with a Bachelor / Master degree in Architecture/Building Design/Urban Planning from an accredited University or College program.
