Position Summary

:

We are seeking a

German-speaking male tour guide

to lead engaging and informative guided tours for German-speaking tourists in Oman Khasab. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about local history, culture, and providing exceptional customer service to visitors from around the world.

Key Responsibilities

:

Conduct Guided Tours

: Lead tours for German-speaking tourists, providing informative, engaging, and insightful commentary on the history, culture, and key attractions of the area.

Ensure Safety & Comfort

: Oversee the safety and comfort of all guests throughout the duration of the tour. Ensure that all safety protocols are followed, especially when navigating historical sites, outdoor tours, or busy city areas.

Customer Service Excellence

: Provide top-tier customer service by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and maintaining a positive, welcoming attitude toward guests at all times.

Tour Preparation

: Prepare and organize tour routes, itineraries, materials, and schedules to ensure the smooth flow of the tour. Adapt to last-minute changes or guest needs when necessary.

Collaborate with Team

: Work closely with other team members (e.g., other guides, transport staff, event coordinators) to ensure seamless coordination and guest satisfaction.

Stay Informed

: Keep up-to-date with local history, events, and attractions to offer accurate, relevant, and captivating information to guests.

Assist with Logistics

: Assist with logistical aspects such as guest check-ins, ticketing, and coordinating transportation as required to ensure a smooth tour experience for all participants.

Key Requirements

:

Language Proficiency

: Fluent in German (spoken and written) - required for guiding and providing information in a clear and engaging manner.

Male Candidates Only

: This position is open to male candidates of any nationality.

Availability

: Must be flexible with working hours, as tours will be scheduled based on demand (e.g., weekdays, weekends, or holidays).

Strong Communication Skills

: Ability to convey historical and cultural information in an engaging and accessible way, tailored to the interests and backgrounds of different groups.

Customer-Centric Mindset

: Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing superior customer service.

Physical Stamina

: Able to lead tours that may involve walking, standing, or navigating diverse terrain, depending on the tour type.

Team Player

: Willingness to collaborate with other staff and ensure smooth operations during tours and events.

Knowledge of Local Attractions

: Familiarity with local landmarks, cultural events, and historical points of interest is highly preferred.
