Our client, a German-managed business service provider, is seeking a Finance Manager (m/f/d) to expand their team and to develop a new financial service division. As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, analyzing financial data, preparing reports and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a deep understanding or accounting principles. You will collaborate closely with various departments to support organizational goals, lead your own team and develop business for financial services. Your duties and responsibilities will include:
Manage all financial records related to the company and develop the financial service desk
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for management review
VAT registration and corporate tax filing
Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations and laws
Coordinate and support external audits, providing necessary documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial expertise and support business initiatives
Consult clients and develop new business prospects
Report to the Managing Partner
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accounting, finance management, tax or similar
At least five years of working experience as a certified accountant
UAE experience, familiarity with local authorities and banking institutes
First leadership experience is a plus
Fluent English and German language skills
Experience with ERP systems, Zoho books preferred
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Entrepreneurial mind-set with a passion for building and growing businesses
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information
Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment that requires a hands-on approach
