Title: Geriatric Medicine Doctor
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Geriatric Medicine Doctor to join our growing team. Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of elderly patients to diagnose and treat various medical conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans for each patient, considering their unique medical history, current health status, and lifestyle
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for elderly patients, including but not limited to nurses, social workers, and therapists
- Monitor and manage chronic conditions commonly seen in the elderly, such as hypertension, arthritis, and heart disease
- Prescribe medication and offer lifestyle recommendations to improve patient's overall health and wellbeing
- Provide end-of-life care and support to terminally ill elderly patients and their families
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and research in the field of geriatric medicine
- Educate patients and their families on healthy aging practices and preventive measures to maintain their overall health and independence
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Geriatric Medicine
- Active state medical license with no restrictions
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in treating elderly patients
- Strong knowledge and understanding of age-related diseases and conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathetic and patient-centered approach to healthcare
