Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Geotechnical Engineer
to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting site investigations, analyzing soil and rock properties, and designing foundations and earth-retaining structures for various infrastructure and construction projects.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct
geotechnical site investigations
and field tests to assess soil, rock, and groundwater conditions. Analyzesoil and rock mechanics
data to determine engineering properties such as shear strength, compressibility, and permeability. Designshallow and deep foundation systems
, including spread footings, piles, caissons, and rafts. Preparegeotechnical engineering reports
, including analysis, design recommendations, and construction guidelines. Conductslope stability analyses
and recommend mitigation measures for landslides and embankment failures. Design and evaluateretaining walls
, earthworks, and ground improvement systems. Performsettlement and bearing capacity analysis
for buildings, bridges, roads, and other structures. Collaborate with structural, civil, and environmental engineers to ensure integrated project delivery. Monitor and superviseconstruction activities
to ensure compliance with geotechnical recommendations.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
