Job Summary:

Falcon Laboratory LLC, a leading engineering testing service provider in the UAE, is seeking a qualified and experienced

Geotechnical Engineer

to support and lead field investigations, laboratory testing, and geotechnical analysis. The candidate will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver technical reports and engineering solutions for a wide range of construction and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and supervise geotechnical site investigations including drilling, sampling, and in-situ testing. Conduct and interpret field tests such as: Standard Penetration Test (SPT) Dynamic Cone Penetration Test (DCPT) Plate Load Test Permeability Test Analyze soil and rock mechanics data, bearing capacity, settlement, slope stability, and foundation recommendations. Prepare high-quality geotechnical factual and interpretative reports. Liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams regarding geotechnical aspects of projects. Coordinate with laboratory teams for testing and ensure QA/QC standards are met. Provide technical support during foundation construction (e.g., pile installation, excavation). Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and international standards (BS, ASTM, Eurocode, etc.). Maintain updated documentation, logs, and project records.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred). Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering or geotechnical site investigation in the UAE or GCC region. Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation design, and geotechnical analysis software (e.g., Plaxis, GeoStudio, gINT, AutoCAD). Familiarity with UAE construction codes and authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, DDA, ADM, etc.). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Valid UAE driving license preferred.

Desirable Skills:

Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Strong analytical and report-writing skills. Experience working in geotechnical laboratories and knowledge of testing standards.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED60,000.00 per month
