Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Geotechnical Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating subsurface conditions and materials to determine their properties and suitability for construction projects. This role involves conducting site assessments, preparing technical reports, and providing engineering solutions that ensure the safety and stability of infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct geotechnical site investigations, including soil, rock, and groundwater sampling and testing. Analyze field and laboratory data to determine soil and rock properties relevant to the design and construction of foundations, earthworks, and retaining structures. Prepare geotechnical reports, including site condition assessments, stability analyses, and foundation recommendations. Collaborate with civil and structural engineers, architects, and construction teams to provide geotechnical input during project planning and design. Design foundations, retaining walls, slope stabilization measures, and ground improvement solutions. Monitor and oversee geotechnical aspects of construction projects to ensure compliance with design and safety standards. Use specialized software for geotechnical analysis (e.g., PLAXIS, GeoStudio, LPILE, Slope/W). Stay up to date with industry codes, regulations, and best practices. Manage budgets and schedules for geotechnical components of projects. Prepare documentation for regulatory approvals and environmental compliance, if applicable.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
