Manager - Geotechnical & Material Testing

Duties and Responsibilities:

Overall management of Geotechnical and material testing lab including operation, preparation of Geotechnical interpretive reports and contract management.

Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the soil investigation/ material testing projects and lab tests, including the monitoring of progress and quality of work.

Manage Engineering / Procurement interfaces: Physical, Logistical, Informational, and Organizational including any other Internal Project Operations Issues.

Design, analysis, derivation of geotechnical properties, and preparation of geotechnical interpretive report for projects of various scales such as high-rise buildings, medium to large commercial buildings and mixed used developments.

Accomplishes department objectives by managing staff, planning, and evaluating department activities.

Evaluate team performance and communicate with them on areas of excellence and improvement.

Project Management with overall responsibility for Technical, Commercial & Contract Management aspect including Project Reports.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Geotechnical engineering / Geology or equivalent with 10 years of professional experience.

Excellent understanding and knowledge of geotechnical engineering and related disciplines with the ability and desire to provide creative and practical solutions to meet the client's needs.

Must have UAE experience.

Must be familiar with ENAS / EIAC procedures and standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
