Role Overview

We are currently seeking a Geophysicis to join our Underground Utility Mapping Production Team in Dubai. This is an office-based analytical role focused on the interpretation of geophysical survey data and the production of accurate subsurface utility maps and drawings for a wide range of infrastructure projects.

This role is well suited to

geophysicists or applied geoscience professionals

who enjoy working with real-world data in a production environment rather than academic research.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret and analyse geophysical survey data collected using GPR, EM and related subsurface investigation techniques Post-process GPR data using specialised interpretation software to identify and map underground utilities and subsurface features Translate geophysical interpretations into clear and accurate utility drawings using AutoCAD Support projects across greenfield, brownfield, facilities, roads and major infrastructure developments Apply company standards, workflows and QA/QC procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency of deliverables Collaborate with field survey teams, surveyors and project managers to resolve data ambiguities and clarify requirements Perform quality control checks on drawings, models and reports prior to submission Maintain organised records of geophysical data, interpretations and project documentation

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in

Geophysics, Applied Geophysics, Geoscience, Surveying, Engineering

, or a related discipline Minimum

2 years' experience

in geophysical data interpretation, underground utility mapping or a similar role Solid understanding of near-surface geophysical methods, particularly

GPR and Electromagnetic (EM)

techniques Experience using GPR post-processing and interpretation software is an advantage Proficiency in

AutoCAD

for production of interpreted outputs Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook Excellent written and spoken

English

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a technical team
