:Thermo Fisher Scientific Middle East are looking for a Genetic Sciences Sales Specialist to Drive the Sanger Sequencing and real-time PCR business including both Instruments and Consumables. Thus, enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.The role holder will be responsible for implementing sales strategy and tactics for related product lines and applications to achieve sales figures in line with the Company's strategy and growth initiatives within the GCC Region. Therefore, project management skills, strategic thinking, planning, and presenting and forecasting, are key skills required.Responsibilities include creating, implementing, tracking, and reporting performances of the sales plan, targets, and forecasts. Drive the company's genotyping solutions by working with marketing and global business units. Partner with local distributors and sales teams to identify and develop potential leads.The role is home based in Middle East RegionAdditional responsibilities are:Direct the growth of business by capturing new accounts/businessIdentify and nurture Key Opinion LeadersBuild relationships with customers to promote penetration, retention and loyaltyGenerate, qualify and close sales leadsProvide foundational qPCR & Sequencing Technical & Sales TrainingPrioritize projects and resourcesProvide market intelligence that influences the strategic planIdentify competitor activities and develop tactical activitiesCoordinates with Marketing to deliver updatesParticipates in process and operation improvement opportunitiesResponds to internal and external inquiriesComplies with Company quality management systems, policies & proceduresQualification:Masters preferable in Molecular Biology or related fieldSolid background in GeneticsVery good communication and presentation skillsMin 3/5 years sales experience in life scienceFluent in English - written and spoken skills.A PhD would be beneficial.
