Generator Operator
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:Operate and monitor generators to ensure optimal performance.Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on generators and related equipment.Start and stop generator systems as required, especially during power outages or scheduled operations.Monitor fuel levels, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and other indicators.Conduct troubleshooting, minor repairs, and adjustments to maintain system reliability.Maintain accurate logs of generator performance, maintenance, and repairs.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures.Coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams for repairs or upgrades.Report any malfunctions or abnormalities promptly to the supervisor or maintenance team.Maintain a clean and organized work area around the generator facility.
