Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable
Generator Electrician Technician
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical power generators and related systems. You will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring generators operate safely and efficiently.Responsibilities
Install, service, and repair power generators (diesel, gas, and standby units) Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues Perform preventive maintenance and testing on generators and control systems Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies Maintain accurate service records and reports Provide on-call support when required
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Generator Technician or Electrician Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and panel board wiring Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical issues Familiarity with ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches) and load bank testing Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
