Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Home Appliance Technician to join our growing service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of household appliances. This role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on repair experience, and excellent customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, diagnose, and repair appliances including washing machines, refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, dryers, microwaves, rice cookers, small kitchen appliances, personal care appliances etc.

Carry out installation of new appliances and ensure they are functioning properly.

Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to avoid recurring problems.

Replace defective or worn-out parts using appropriate tools and equipment.

Maintain accurate service logs, repair reports, and inventory of spare parts.

Provide customers with detailed explanations of appliance issues and recommended solutions.

Ensure all repairs and installations comply with safety and quality standards.

Respond to emergency service requests and complete jobs within set timelines.

Collaborate with the service team and report major issues to the supervisor/manager.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Home Appliance Technician or similar technical role.

Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems of home appliances.

Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, manuals, and technical documents.

Skilled in using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and repair instruments.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication and customer handling skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical ability to lift and move heavy appliances when required.

Valid UAE driving license (preferred).

Education & Experience:

Diploma or Certification in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related technical field (preferred).

Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in appliance repair and maintenance.
