Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive General Technician for our Facilities Management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting across building systems to ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance tasks across facilities including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC support. Conduct routine inspections of building systems and report any defects or safety hazards. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete work orders efficiently. Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and prolong equipment life. Assist with installation, repair, and replacement of fixtures and equipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and facility regulations. Coordinate with contractors and vendors when required. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and update work orders.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or general technician role. Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair works. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals is an advantage. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Good communication and teamwork skills. Valid UAE driving license is preferred.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
