The General Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks across electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and structural systems. The role ensures the safe and efficient operation of equipment and facilities, supporting smooth daily operations and minimizing downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular inspections and carry out preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks, including:
Electrical (e.g., replacing bulbs, outlets, and fuses)
Plumbing (e.g., fixing leaks, unclogging drains)
HVAC (e.g., filter replacement, minor troubleshooting)
Carpentry and painting (e.g., door repairs, patching walls)
Respond to service or maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and issues identified.
Ensure all tools and equipment are used safely and maintained in good working order.
Support health and safety compliance, following company and legal safety standards.
Assist in setting up or moving equipment, furniture, or supplies as required.
Collaborate with contractors and other service providers during repair or installation projects.
Support emergency maintenance needs, including on-call or after-hours work when required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training preferred.
3 years of experience in general maintenance or facilities work.
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
Ability to operate tools and equipment safely.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Physically able to lift heavy items, work at heights,
