Respond to and resolve daily maintenance requests and complaints in staff accommodation. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment, systems, and facilities. Carry out general repair works including ceilings, walls, floors, doors, locks, and furniture to ensure safety and comfort. Conduct basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks as required. Inspect and maintain appliances such as refrigerators and air conditioners to ensure proper functioning. Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely and correctly. Support and guide less experienced staff in maintenance activities when necessary. Ensure drainage systems and common areas are free from blockages or hazards. Work in shifts as per duty schedule to provide timely support. Follow all safety procedures and report potential risks or unsafe conditions promptly. Assist in scheduling and assigning maintenance work as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications
High school diploma or technical/vocational training in maintenance, electrical, plumbing, or related field. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in general maintenance Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems. Ability to work shifts and respond to emergency maintenance requests.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
