Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on piling and construction machinery, including hydraulic equipment, generators, compressors, wheel loaders, excavators, and drilling rigs. Conduct routine inspections to identify mechanical issues and ensure equipment reliability. Diagnose faults in engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, braking systems, and electrical components. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance as per schedule and manufacturer standards. Assist in repairing breakdowns at site to minimize equipment downtime. Maintain records of service, repairs, spare parts, and maintenance logs. Coordinate with site supervisors and equipment operators for timely servicing. Ensure all tools, instruments, and equipment are used safely and properly. Recommend spare parts and materials required for machine repairs. Support the workshop team and perform other mechanical tasks as needed on site.

Skills & Requirements:

Proven experience as a

General Mechanic

in

Piling / Construction industry

. Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and heavy machinery. Ability to diagnose mechanical faults quickly and independently. Knowledge of welding and fabrication is an advantage. Ability to work under pressure in outdoor construction environments. Basic understanding of safety procedures and equipment handling. Good communication and teamwork skills.
