Job Types: Full-time, Permanent contract Full An established company is wishing to appoint a General Manager. We are looking for a selfmotivated and results-driven general manager to direct and manage our organization's business activities and to develop and implement effective business strategies and programs. Duties for the general manager will include allocating budget resources, formulating policies, coordinating business operations, monitoring and motivating staff, managing operational costs, ensuring good customer service, improving administration processes, engaging with vendors, hiring and training employees, identifying business opportunities, and monitoring financial activities. Your entrepreneurial spirit and vision in directing business functions will assist our organization in maintaining relationships with clients, generating new business, increasing staff productivity, improving service, ensuring sustainability, and meeting business objectives. The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include the following:
Overseeing daily business operations.
Developing and implementing growth strategies.
Training low-level managers and staff.
Creating and managing budgets.
Improving revenue.
Achieving desired growth and gross profit targets for the region through successfully managing the sales process, pipeline, and people
General management of all admin, stock, and branch-related functions
Ensure all counter sales staff are well trained in the product set
Ensure debt collection is maintained at an acceptable DSO level
Monitor Competitor activity
Submit activity reports and forecasts as defined
Prepare sales forecasts and annual budgets
Analyze monthly financial statements
General reporting and liaising with Head Office and various departments
Personnel management within the region
Evaluating performance and productivity.
Analyzing accounting and financial data.
Researching and identifying growth opportunities.
Generating reports and giving presentations. Expérience and Qualification
A relevant business management degree (Master's degree / MBA)
Proven experience as a General Manager.
Good knowledge of different business functions.
Strong leadership qualities.
Excellent communication skills
