General Manager - Modular Construction

Adecco is currently recruiting for a General Manager for our client, an innovative and progressive Modular construction company based in Dubai but servicing all over the world. The primary function of the successful candidate is to manage all aspects of the company, handling the day-to-day operations and maintaining a positive cash flow.

This role is for a permanent position based in the Dubai head office. Job Summary: You will be a well-seasoned strategic Manager, who is comfortable managing a current team of 70. You will be hands-on, construction experience and with an excellent commercial awareness,

Job Responsibilities:

Oversea all daily functions of the business.

Drive profits and manage budgets.

Report directly to the CEO.

Identify and understand new creative ideas to help satisfy clients construction projects.

Be an ambassador for the company helping to drive new business opportunities.

Understand the operations of the business and product knowledge/services.

Creating and mentoring a diverse and effective leadership team.

Improving and maintain operational standards.

Committed to maintain effective working relationships throughout the company.

Manage all legal obligations, compliances and warranties,

The Successful Applicant must have:

At least Degree Qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.

At least 5 years' experience in a modular construction management position.

Passion - in all aspects of their work!

Excellent communicator of written/spoken English.

Construction project experience understanding contracts, payment and shipment terms.

Creative ideas to think outside the box and not afraid to question what's been done before.

Driven with excellent tech savvy and people management skills.

Committed to live in Dubai.
