The Role

Guildhall is seeking a General Manager for our client, a premium cafe brand. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in expansion and scaling operations, with a strong understanding of managing high-performing teams, operational excellence, and delivering exceptional customer experiences while maintaining the cafe's brand standards and strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage day-to-day cafe operations (4 locations), including staff supervision, customer service, inventory, and financial management. Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets, profitability, and business growth. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards. Recruit, train, and develop staff, fostering a positive and productive workplace culture. Monitor and manage inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships to optimize costs. Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality and presentation. Analyze financial reports, KPIs, and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement. Implement marketing and promotional initiatives to drive customer engagement and brand awareness. Resolve customer complaints and ensure an exceptional guest experience. Collaborate with ownership on long-term business planning and strategy.



Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). Minimum 5-7 years of experience in cafe, restaurant, or F&B management, with at least 3 years in a senior managerial role. Expertise in operational management, P&L ownership, customer satisfaction and KPI monitoring to drive profitability and performance. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Knowledge of food and beverage operations, health and safety regulations, and cost management. Proven track record in managing multiple cafe locations and ensuring consistent quality and performance across all stores. Understanding of the Saudi and UK markets is highly advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
