About Four Seasons Hotel Madinah:

Steps from the Prophet\xe2\x80\x99s Mosque, our Hotel will offer luxury accommodation for the city\xe2\x80\x99s 1.5 million annual visitors. The new-build hotel will be located at the heart of Madinah and steps from one of the most historic and significant sites in the region: Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, also known as the Prophet\xe2\x80\x99s Mosque. Madinah is also home to the Quba Mosque, which is regarded as the oldest mosque in the world.

Four Seasons Hotel Madinah will feature 245 guest rooms and suites, two restaurants, a tea lounge, expansive meeting and event space, a well-appointed spa, fitness centre, barber shop and a curated collection of retail outlets.

The Role of General Manager:

We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned General Manager to join our Four Seasons Hotel Madinah opening team!

Reporting into the Regional Vice President, you will take the lead in project managing the opening of this incredible property. You will also be an active team player in strengthening our Four Seasons Saudi Arabia collection; creative in identifying opportunities to maximise development opportunities within the collection.

Our General Manager will lead the operational team in delivering consistently high service levels; ensuring our many return guests are warmly welcomed and looked after. You will be responsible for the successful guest service delivery for the hotel and will be an active part of the local community. You will provide leadership and management for all hotel personnel, establish plans of character, integrity and of quality, which results in the continued life, growth and profitability of the business and take responsibility for the health, safety and welfare of our hotel guests and employees.

Our Ideal General Manager candidate will have:

Hotel General Management experience, ideally with previous experience in Macca or Madinah. Strong Rooms positioning with high turnover experience, opening and project lead experience, sense of business development with strength in new markets, and have a strong revenue and yield management background. To be employed in Madinah you should have fluency in Arabic and English and be a Muslim Faith Believer.

A dynamic and hands-on operational leader with a strong passion for people development, have an entrepreneurial spirit, be a brand and guest ambassador with the ability to challenge the norm and be solution oriented, and have an innovative approach to creatively position the overall hotel product with a strong focus on Rooms.

Ability to lead pre-opening and post-opening budgets, you will be a strong project manager and visionary who can think big picture yet able to execute on ideas and have a nimble mindset particularly in opening year to establish operating procedures.

A seasoned leader with diplomacy and the ability to build strong relationships with key stake holders inside and outside the resort (Owners, Community), the ability to engage with ownership on strategies to increase revenues and understand their needs and be able to draw a long-term vision for the hotel.

Strong finance/business acumen, an appreciation for luxury best-in-class to deliver world class product and services and ensure infusion of local heritage and culture in our product and service offerings. A driver of excellence in service delivery and passionate about quality.
