Our client is a Dubai-based boutique Rigging and Drapery supplier, that finds creative solutions to the customary tight lead times of the UAE by basing designs around modular rental stocks and using standard items in unique ways.
They are looking for a General Manager to take over the day-to-day running of the business. The focus of the role is to oversee the daily business activities, team management, process and procedure design and implementation, financial alignment, and improving efficiency.
The total team consists of 15 members. The candidate does not need to have held a GM position in the past but should carry a proven leadership experience and demonstrate strong leadership abilities and competence at the senior management level.

Manage the day-to-day running and operations of the business;
Design, implement, and monitor policies and processes across the business;
Provide support and escalation points for the team;
Ensure regular meetings, coordination, and delivery;
Responsible for HR, ensuring continuity and adherence and managing the employee review process;
Ensure employees are working productively;
Manage recruitment, training, and onboarding of new team;
Oversee budget, and financial goals, and manage cashflow;
Find cost efficiencies in spending, optimize;
Prepare reports for directors;
Alongside the MD design strategy and set goals for growth;
Business administration management (insurance, licenses);
Manage, plan, and budget asset spending and investment for the upcoming year alongside management
