Job Description

Job Title: General Manager - Travel and Tourism : As the General Manager of Travel and Tourism, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our travel operations, ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and profitability. You will lead a team and collaborate with various departments to achieve business objectives. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth, revenue targets, and market expansion in alignment with the company\'s objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and innovation.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with partners, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure the best deals, collaborations, and service offerings for our customers.
  • Oversee the implementation of operational policies, procedures, and standards to ensure exceptional service delivery and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Manage budgets, financial forecasts, and cost-control measures to optimize profitability while maintaining quality service.
  • Drive marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and branding strategies to enhance the company\'s presence and attract new customers.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolutions to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to innovate and enhance service offerings.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or relevant field (Master\'s degree preferred).
  • Proven min 10 years experience in a senior management role within the travel and tourism industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving common goals.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of travel industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and systems for reservations, operations, and financial management.
