About the job General Manager

Our client is one of the leading Furniture and furnishing brands in Dubai, UAE, with 30 years of expertise in the industry. They are looking for a General Manager to join their team in Dubai.

The hired resource shall be responsible for the company\'s operation, including profitability apart from sales, markets, finance, recruitment, etc. The candidate must have at least 15 years of experience in the furniture industry, of which 5 years should be at the level of managing the company. The candidate should be very creative, analytical, and strategic and must have a proven track record and a result-oriented approach.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic plans and objectives for the organization.
Manage day-to-day operations across departments, optimizing workflows and resource allocation.
Drive financial performance through budgeting, monitoring metrics, and cost optimization.
Build and lead a high-performing management team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
Cultivate relationships with stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
Identify and mitigate risks while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, evaluating processes, and implementing innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor\'s degree in engineering or a related field. Must have 15 to 20 years of relevant experience.
Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role. Must be from a hard-core Sales and Marketing background and should have handled the company\'s operations for at least 5 years. Preferably from the furniture industry
Strong business acumen and the ability to drive growth and profitability.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with financial management principles and budgeting.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Knowledge of industry trends and regulations
