Location: City Social Dubai, Grosvenor House, a Luxury Collection Hotel Work-Schedule: Full-time Starting date: Immediately Opened in February 2023, City Social is an elegant fine dining restaurant in Dubai which offers modern European cuisine that benefits from a magnificent bird\xe2\x80\x99s-eye view of the city. To this end, The Social Company is looking for a General Manager with a high internal emotional drive to succeed, a commitment to growth, and a desire to elevate standards. Position Summary In this role, you will oversee three restaurants and two bars in the venue that spans three levels, including all front-of-house operations. The list of responsibilities below is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties: Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing daily operations of establishments, including staff relations, preparation, customer relations, team management etc.
- Maintain open communication between Front Line Team Members and the Culinary Team Members.
- Provide leadership by creating excitement, intrinsic motivation, a positive mental attitude, and commitment to Company objectives.
- Manage daily activities to achieve excellence in all restaurants and bars\xe2\x80\x99 operational performance.
- Hold the team accountable for company food safety, food handling, and sanitation requirements to ensure the health and safety of our guests and staff.
- 4+ years of experience as a General Manager in a fine-dining restaurant.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in hospitality or equivalent (desired).
- Excellent spoken and written English language skills.
- Compelling communication skills- transparency is key.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Results-oriented with the ability to effectively manage KPIs.
- Ability to lead by example, monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback.
