A leading retail group in the UAE is looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to fill in an exciting and challenging General Manager role and drive the business growth of a rapidly expanding health and beauty retail chain within the GCC region. This role will be based in Dubai, UAE.
As the General Manager, your role will include the following:

• Develop and implement improved retail standards within the business
• Ensure that all business targets and objectives are reached
• Keep the business costs within the approved budgets
• Drive the achievement of all KPIs
• Ensure that all stores are offering the best product mix and are always up to operational standards
• Support the expansion of the band within the GCC region, conduct feasibility studies on new projects and locations
• Keep updated of the latest market trends and competitors activities

To qualify for the General Manager role, you must have the following skills and experience:

• Substantial experience in a similar general management role within the retail industry, preferably with a pharmacy/health and beauty background
• Preferably with UAE work experience and an existing network of contacts within the industry
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong business acumen
• Excellent man management abilities
