Job Description

• Maintaining positive relationships with vendors of direct travel, such as car rentals, hotels, and airlines.
• Negotiating preferred rates with vendors/suppliers.
• Managing direct employees' day-to-day issues and their requirements.
• Approving operations' requirements.
• Managing team of staff who are into planning travel accommodations, booking flights, hotels, car rentals, and coordinating activities.
• Approving all travel-related documentation, including payments, itineraries, visas, medical, and legal forms.
• Analyzing, discussing, and deciding on any travel/business-related issues that may arise.
• Researching travel deals and evaluating prices and services.
• Creating, optimizing, and monitoring corporate travel policies that are into B-to-B segments.
• Make sure that the CEOs time is not spent on the routine tasks.
• Reporting directly to the CEO of the business.

Required Skills:

• A bachelor's degree in business or tourism or travel or hospitality is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years experience as a General Manager and 10 years of overall experience in the Travel and Tourism industry.
• Certification in travel or hospitality could be an advantage.
• Knowledge of travel management processes.
• The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and clients (existing relationships may be advantageous).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• A basic understanding of Geography.
• Strong computer skills.
