The General Manager’s (GM) role is to monitor the daily operations of his/her business segment: (EOR Services: Government Clients). The GM’s main goal is to ensure that the client’s project deliverables is delivered within the required quality, cost, and time requirements. He/she will be responsible for the overall commercial/costing preparation, proposal preparation and submissions, and project budget management. He/she will work closely with Finance to monitor the timely invoicing and receipt of payments.
The GM will ensure that client satisfaction is prioritized, and projects are delivered successfully. The GM will be required to visit clients on a regular basis. The GM will supervise employees to perform their tasks effectively throughout the day. The GM will be involved in promoting the goals of the organization while working towards reducing costs and improving profits.
At Trans Skills, we are looking for a candidate who can manage the overall business functions, by coordinating with the different stakeholders and acting as a bridge between the Management and the employees.
Responsibilities Include:
Contribution/Leadership
  • Leads multi-functional teams, or conducts special projects, or manages department. Has vision of functional or organization mission. Influences people and organizations, including executive management, when issues are complex/difficult and require considerable diplomacy. Considerable knowledge as well as experience in responsibilities to define and decide on tools, processes, priorities and resources following general business unit directives. Recognized as an expert in their field.
  • Supporting sales teams and key account managers in retention of existing clients.
  • Defining long-term strategic goals and developing clear plans to implement them.
  • Improving internal processes and ensuring employees work as a cohesive unit.
  • Supervising departmental heads, including areas such as hiring, training and managing the performance of each employee.
  • Approving spending for relevant departments based on data and critical thinking.
Impact on Business/Scope:
  • Accountable for projects or programs involving multi- functional, country-wide or regional teams. Responsible for overall functional program success. Activities are subject to business measurements, impact customer satisfaction, and impact functional, business unit, or country costs or expenses.
  • Planning, coordinating, and managing all business operations to achieve corporate goals.
  • Developing and maintaining budgets. This can include budgets for individual departments or overall areas of the organization.

Environment:
  • Professional knowledge of function, business unit or country operations.
  • Understand organizational resources, priorities, needs, and policies.
  • Evaluating current business processes and systems.
Communication/Negotiation:
  • Excellent English and Arabic verbal and writing skills (Mandatory).
  • Adapt communications and approaches to conclude negotiations with various partners, resulting in common agreements.
Problem Solving:
  • Analyze complex/new situations, anticipate potential problems and future trends, and assess opportunities, impacts, and risks. Develop and implement solutions.

Qualifications

  • Min 5 years of experience with the same role or 8 years with similar roles.
  • Must know P&L management.
  • Excellent analytical skills, he/she must be good in numbers/costing.
  • Able to fully prepare an entire proposal (Technical to financial) to submit for biddings.
  • Experience in working with HR organizations or consultancies is an added advantage.
  • Preference for those who have worked for government projects.
  • CVs with numbers, project values, estimates, project completion will be preferred.
  • PMP certification is preferred.
  • Great relationship building with clients.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English.
  • Driving license is required.
