Shuraa is looking for a General Manager to oversee all staff, budgets, and operations of the local business unit. General Manager responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing people and establishing policies. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, meet the strategic goals for the company by setting operational policies and budgets, helping our people develop and be productive, while ensuring our profits are on the rise. Objectives of this role Develop strategic plans for optimized productivity Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivational work environment, and creating innovative approaches to improvement Uphold standards of excellence and soaring quality Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships Provide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations, assign weekly performance goals and ensure their completion, and accomplish your own goals Recruit, onboard, and train high-performing employees to achieve sales, profitability, market-share, and business-plan objectives Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans Delegate responsibilities to the best-qualified employees and enforce all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values Resolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of all involved Quickly identify where the business can improve their existing processes Streamline and introduce practices and procedures to ensure the business is running efficiently Effectively manage existing senior staff, ensuring they are on board with new direction of the business Identify and pursue new lines of business therefore increasing revenue streams Act in the best interest of the business in the absence of the CEO Creating and implementing strategies Required skills and qualifications Proven experience in a managerial role Must hold a Law degree Strong decision-making ability Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills Proven ability to develop and achieve financial plans Ability to motivate and lead employees, and hold them accountable Strong working knowledge of operational procedures Performance-evaluation experience Job Type: Full-time Experience:
