General Manager Development

JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the project development activities involving strategic planning, project management, team leadership, stakeholder management, and ensuring compliance as per local rules &regulations.
JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Lead and manage the development, design, and construction of projects. Lead the development and implementation of internal project planning documentation and operating procedures and coordinate project delivery through established processes.
• Provide strategic leadership, guidance, and motivation to project teams, ensuring the successful delivery of projects while meeting organisational goals and objectives. Work closely with internal teams and resources to manage planning and design inputs.
• Negotiate, manage and coordinate the activities of all project participants, including consultants and contractors, ensuring expectations are understood and agreed, programs maintained, and key milestones met, and that delivery, performance and financial targets are achieved.
• Negotiate relevant development contracts to a successful outcome to ensure the organization\'s objectives are met.
• Lead sensitive and complex negotiations with a wide range of key stakeholders to ensure the effective and timely delivery of the organization\'s development objectives.
• Oversee the preparation of project budgets and ensure ongoing monitoring of project performance including regular reporting to management.

SKILLS:

• Bachelors or Master\'s in / Civil Engineering| Architecture

MBA degree Preferred. * Min 15-20 years professional experience

• Proven experience in development project management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Sound knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
