Black & Grey HR is currently recruiting for a Building Materials Manufacturer in the UAE. Our client is seeking candidates who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of their manufacturing operations. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in setting strategic goals, managing production processes, ensuring quality control, optimising efficiency, and driving business growth. Additionally, you will be responsible for fostering a positive work culture, building and nurturing relationships with stakeholders, and maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the company\'s overall strategic plans, goals, and objectives. Identify market trends, opportunities, and potential risks to guide decision-making. Drive business growth through effective strategies and initiatives.

2. Operations Management: Oversee all manufacturing operations to ensure optimal efficiency, productivity, and quality. Monitor and manage production schedules, resource allocation, and cost control. Implement and maintain best practices in manufacturing processes and quality control.

3. Financial Management: Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring financial targets are met. Analyse financial data, prepare reports, and provide recommendations for cost optimization. Monitor and control expenses to maximize profitability.

4. Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations. Identify training and development needs and implement programs to enhance employee skills.

5. Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, government agencies, and industry associations. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for business expansion and customer satisfaction.

6. Health, Safety, and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Implement and maintain effective risk management practices. Foster a culture of safety awareness and adherence to standard operating procedures.

Requirements

- Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.

- 10+ years of comprehensive working experience as a General Manager.

- Broad knowledge and experience of manufacturing and production processes and concepts, including profit and loss management.

- Relevant exposure at the managerial level within a corporate environment.
