We are looking for a highly skilled and dependable
General Maintenance Technician
to join a prestigious luxury hotel group in Saudi Arabia. The selected candidate will be responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance throughout the property, ensuring that all facilities, equipment, and guest areas operate at the highest standards of safety, functionality, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on hotel facilities, systems, and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical components.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests, departments, and management to minimize downtime and maintain guest satisfaction.
Troubleshoot and repair issues involving lighting, fixtures, appliances, carpentry, and general building systems.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment performance.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, hotel policies, and local building codes.
Work closely with the engineering team on major repairs, refurbishments, and system upgrades.
Monitor and maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure proper functioning.
Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with guests and colleagues.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Technical diploma or certification in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or General Maintenance.
Minimum
2-3 years' experience
in general maintenance, preferably in luxury hotels or high-end hospitality environments.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, mechanical equipment, and basic carpentry.
Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor.
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and on-call rotations as needed.
Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
