Job Description

The technician maintains and repairs all aspects of the hotel's wood work and furniture in accordance with the standards to achieve optimum product quality at all times.

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems. Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools. Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications. Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes and regulations. Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers. Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions to ensure workplace safety. Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other construction professionals. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Provide cost and time estimates for electrical jobs. Respond to emergency calls and perform troubleshooting when needed.
Responds to a guest maintenance request within 15 minutes of receipt of the same;

2 years experience in maintenance and repair of industrial type kitchen maintenance equipment in a 5 star hotel or a large industrial food production unit;

Certificate in engineering or equivalent;

Demonstrates knowledge of techniques, skills, equipment, procedures and materials;

Ensures that the supplied uniform is clean and in good repair;

Always maintain a clean and tidy appearance before entering a guestroom or public

With experience as general electrician in hospitality industry

Ability to communicate in English

Willing to work in shifting schedule and public holidays
